What are you doing to minimize the impacts of construction to the neighborhood?
Construction isn't fun for anyone, and it is a priority for the team to minimize the impact of construction on the surrounding neighborhood as much as possible. We've hired a neighborhood liaison as a resource for the community, who will be made available to answer any questions or concerns regarding the project, and provide updates as progress occurs.
In discussions with general contractors, the team made it a condition of the proposals to plan multiple truck routes to and from the site, alternating on different days of the week, to spread the impacts to multiple streets fewer days a week. We will also be hosting public meetings with the general contractors to solicit public input and to work through construction management details.
In addition, our website has a public forum to start discussions/raise concerns, a construction calendar with estimated number of trucks/day, trades servicing the site et cetera.
